Prohibited Content & Safety Policy
Prohibited Content & Safety Policy
Effective 13 July 2026 · Version 2026-07-13
This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and works alongside our Acceptable Use Policy. Where the two overlap for AI-generated media, this — the more specific and more protective standard — governs. To report a violation or request removal of intimate imagery, see § 11; there is no Senova account required.

1. Purpose & scope
Senova is a studio for generating commercial images and video with AI. This policy sets the bright lines: the content you may never create, upload, request, store, publish, or share through Senova, and what happens when someone crosses them. It exists to protect real people — especially children — and to keep Senova safe, lawful, and trusted.
This policy applies to everything that touches the Service: the prompts and instructions you write, the reference images, video, and audio you upload, the media our models generate for you, and anything you store in your library or publish through a Senova link. It applies whether or not the content is ever shared publicly.
This policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and works alongside our Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"). The AUP governs the platform broadly; this policy is the more specific standard for AI media generation. Where the two overlap, the more specific and more restrictive provision governs. Like the AUP, the lists below are illustrative, not exhaustive — content or conduct that is unlawful or harmful can violate this policy even if it is not named here.
Attempting a violation is itself a violation. A prompt requesting prohibited content violates this policy even if our filters block the generation and nothing is ever produced.
2. Child safety — zero tolerance
Senova has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material ("CSAM") and for any sexualization of minors. This is the hardest line we have. It covers:
- Any sexual or sexualized content involving a minor — real, edited, or entirely AI-generated. This includes content that depicts, or appears to depict, anyone under 18 in sexual or sexually suggestive contexts, regardless of art style (photorealistic, illustrated, anime, "aged-up" framing, or otherwise), and regardless of whether any real child was involved.
- Prompts and uploads, not just outputs. Writing a prompt that seeks such content, uploading such an image, or using a photo of a real minor as a reference for sexual or intimate content — each is an independent violation, whether or not anything is generated.
- Grooming, sextortion, and exploitation content of any kind, and any attempt to use Senova to facilitate harm to a child.
- Ambiguity resolves against the content. If age is unclear, we treat the depicted person as a minor and act accordingly.
The law reaches AI-generated content. Under U.S. federal law, sexual imagery of minors is illegal even when it is computer-generated — including material "indistinguishable" from a real minor (18 U.S.C. §§ 2252A, 2256(8)) and obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children (18 U.S.C. § 1466A). "It's not a real child" is not a defense, and it is not a loophole here.
What we do when we find it. There are no warnings, no second chances, and no appeals:
- We immediately and permanently terminate the account. All remaining credits are forfeited and no refunds are issued.
- We preserve the relevant content, account records, and logs as the law requires.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ("NCMEC") CyberTipline, as required of service providers by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and we cooperate fully with NCMEC and law enforcement. We may make these reports without notifying the account holder.
If you encounter such content anywhere on Senova, report it immediately via the in-product Report option or abuse@senova.studio. If a child is in immediate danger, contact law enforcement first. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
3. Non-consensual intimate imagery & sexual deepfakes
You may not use Senova to create, recreate, edit, upload, store, or share intimate or sexually explicit imagery of a real, identifiable person without that person's consent. This includes "deepfake nudity" and other digital forgeries — imagery created or altered with AI so that it depicts, or appears to depict, an identifiable person intimately, even if the underlying photo was innocent, even if the person is a public figure, and even if you label it as fake. Uploading someone's photo to "undress," sexualize, or place them in intimate scenarios is categorically prohibited, as is building that capability with Senova.
Publishing non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated forgeries, is a federal crime in the United States under the TAKE IT DOWN Act (Pub. L. 119-12, 2025), and is separately unlawful in many states and countries. We enforce this section against attempts, not just completed publications.
Removal requests — our 48-hour commitment. If you are depicted in intimate imagery on Senova that was shared without your consent (or someone is doing this on your behalf, or you are a parent or guardian of a depicted minor), you can request removal — no Senova account required:
- Use the Report option on the content or shared page, or email abuse@senova.studio with the subject "NCII removal request".
- Include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) enough information for us to identify and locate the imagery (a link to the shared page or content); (c) a brief statement, made in good faith, that the imagery depicts you (or the person you represent) and was published without consent; and (d) contact information so we can update you.
- We will remove reported intimate imagery as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request, make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies, give your request a tracking identifier, and tell you the outcome. We use content hashing to help prevent removed imagery from being re-uploaded.
Victim resources: if the imagery involves someone under 18 (including your own past images), use NCMEC's Take It Down (takeitdown.ncmec.org); if 18 or older, StopNCII.org can help block reshares across participating platforms.
4. Sexually explicit content
Senova is a general-audience commercial studio, not an adult-content platform. You may not use Senova to generate, upload, or distribute pornographic or sexually explicit content of any kind, real or synthetic. Model-level safety filters that block sexual content stay on; attempting to bypass, jailbreak, or prompt around them violates this policy and the AUP's AI rules. This line also reflects the rules of our payment and infrastructure partners, which prohibit AI-generated sexual content on their services.
5. Real people: deepfakes, impersonation & likeness
Generating a real, identifiable person — their face, body, or voice — is high-risk by default. On Senova:
- Consent for private individuals. Do not generate or edit imagery, video, or voice of an identifiable private person without their consent. Uploading a photo of someone as a reference is a representation that you have the right and their consent to use it that way.
- No deceptive synthetic media. Do not create content depicting any real person — private or public figure — doing or saying things they did not do or say, where a reasonable viewer could be misled into believing it is authentic. Clearly labeled parody and commentary are permitted; passing synthetic media off as real is not.
- No fraud or impersonation. Do not use anyone's likeness or voice for scams, fake endorsements or testimonials, phishing, account-recovery fraud, or impersonating a person, brand, or organization.
- No election or civic manipulation. Do not create media designed to deceive voters, misrepresent candidates or officials, fake ballots or civic processes, or suppress or mislead participation in elections.
- No defamation. Do not create synthetic media that presents false, reputation-damaging depictions of real people as fact.
- Voice cloning requires documented consent. Features that reproduce a real person's voice (voiceover, lip-sync, talking video) may only be used with the speaker's verifiable consent. Many jurisdictions protect voice and likeness by statute (for example, Tennessee's ELVIS Act and state right-of-publicity laws).
- Disclosure. Where law requires that AI-generated or manipulated media be disclosed or machine-labeled (for example, the EU AI Act's transparency rules for deepfakes), you are responsible for complying when you distribute Senova output. Some Senova models embed invisible provenance watermarks (such as Google SynthID) that must not be removed.
6. Harassment & threats against real people
Do not use Senova to target real people. This includes generating content to harass, bully, shame, intimidate, or degrade an identifiable person; depicting violence against an identifiable person; threatening imagery directed at a person or group; and content that exposes people to danger, such as pairing someone's likeness with private information or calls to action against them. Hateful content targeting protected groups is prohibited under the AUP and applies fully to generated media.
7. Terrorism, violent extremism & incitement
Do not create or distribute content that promotes, glorifies, incites, or provides material support for terrorism, violent extremism, or mass violence; content that praises perpetrators or dehumanizes victims of such acts; recruitment or propaganda material for violent organizations; credible threats of violence; or instructional content that meaningfully facilitates serious violence (such as building weapons intended for mass harm). Gratuitous gore engineered to shock, and realistic depictions of real-world atrocities presented as authentic, are likewise prohibited.
8. Fraud, scams, malware & illegal goods
Senova makes advertising and product media — content built to persuade. You may not weaponize that:
- Deceptive advertising. No fake reviews or testimonials, fabricated endorsements, fake "news" formats, deceptive health or financial claims, or ads for products that do not exist as depicted with intent to deceive.
- Scams and fraud. No creative for phishing, investment or romance scams, fake stores, pyramid schemes, or any scheme to obtain money or data under false pretenses.
- Malware and crime facilitation. No content or assets used to distribute malicious software or to facilitate unlawful access to systems or data.
- Illegal goods and services. No content promoting the sale of illegal drugs, illegal weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen data, or other unlawful products and services.
9. Minimum age — 18+
You must be at least 18 years old (and old enough to form a binding contract where you live) to use Senova, as our Terms of Service already require. We set the line at 18 — not 13 — deliberately: Senova is a paid, professional tool that generates open-ended synthetic media, our billing and credit system requires contractual capacity, and the terms of the underlying AI models we license are written for adult users. Senova is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn an account holder is under 18, we will close the account. If you believe a minor is using Senova, tell us at abuse@senova.studio.
10. How we moderate
We use layered, automated and human safeguards, and we are transparent about their nature:
- Prompt screening. Prompts are automatically screened before generation. Requests that our systems identify as seeking prohibited content — especially anything touching children or non-consensual sexual imagery — are blocked and logged.
- Model-level filters. The AI models we route to run their own safety systems (content classifiers, NSFW filters, and provider-side policy enforcement). Outputs flagged as unsafe are blocked, are not delivered, and are not stored in your library.
- Upload scanning. Reference images and video you upload may be automatically scanned, including with classifiers and industry hash-matching technology designed to detect known child sexual abuse material and previously removed intimate imagery.
- Human review. Reports and automated flags are reviewed by a human. Our team may review specific content and associated account data when investigating a suspected violation, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
- Safety logging. Safety events (blocked prompts, flagged outputs, reports, enforcement actions) are logged and retained so that we can identify repeat abuse and meet our legal obligations.
No filter is perfect. Automated systems will occasionally block legitimate requests; if that happens to you, you can ask us to take a look (see § 11). What automated moderation never does is excuse a violation: content that slips past a filter is still prohibited.
11. Reporting violations & removal requests
If you see content on Senova that violates this policy — on a shared page, in an ad, anywhere — please report it:
- In product: use the Report option on the content or shared page. You do not need a Senova account to report content on a public Senova link.
- By email: abuse@senova.studio. Include the link or content involved, what the problem is, and any context. Anonymous reports are accepted; contact details let us follow up and confirm the outcome.
Our commitments. We review all reports promptly and prioritize by harm: suspected child-safety content is actioned immediately upon confirmation; non-consensual intimate imagery is removed within 48 hours of a valid request (see § 3); we aim to acknowledge other reports within 2 business days and resolve them quickly. Copyright complaints follow the separate DMCA & Copyright Policy. Appeals of enforcement actions follow the AUP — except child-safety actions, which are final.
12. Enforcement
When we determine this policy has been violated, we act proportionately to the harm — and immediately when the harm is severe:
- Content-level: blocking a generation, removing or disabling content, disabling shared links, and hashing removed content to prevent re-upload.
- Account-level: warnings, feature restrictions, rate limits, suspension, or permanent termination. Repeat or egregious violations escalate; child-safety violations skip straight to permanent termination.
- Financial: generations blocked for violations are not delivered; accounts terminated for violations forfeit remaining credits, and no refunds are issued for enforcement, consistent with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Legal: we preserve relevant evidence, report to NCMEC and law enforcement where required or appropriate (including under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and the TAKE IT DOWN Act), respond to valid legal process, and may pursue any other available remedies.
Where practical for lower-severity issues we give notice and a chance to fix. For emergencies — child safety, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats, active fraud — we act first and without prior notice.
13. How this fits with our other policies
This policy is part of a set. The Terms of Service are the master agreement and incorporate this policy; the Acceptable Use Policy governs platform conduct broadly and its prohibited-content list continues to apply; the DMCA Policy handles copyright; the Privacy Policy explains how safety-related data is handled; and the Refund & Cancellation Policy governs credits, including forfeiture on enforcement. If this policy and the AUP appear to conflict for AI-generated media, this policy — as the more specific and more protective standard — governs.
We update this policy as threats, law, and our safeguards evolve; material changes will be posted here with a new version date. Questions: legal@senova.studio. Reports: abuse@senova.studio. General support: support@senova.studio.
